What does green tick means

Why in some events appears a green tick and not in the rest (ex. All Saints Fair)
Is perhaps an acceptance of Waze that consider more important labeled events?

This question hasn’t received an answer yet. Nor did I find an answer anywhere else.
Anyone?
Greetz, Peter

Sent from my HTC M8

It meant that the event is submitted and pushed to the users

Based on what criteria?

Other MTEs are also submitted but don’t have a green tick.
So the green tick will say that a push message is/will be send?
And the ones without a green tick no push message is/will be send?
Most of the MTEs don’t have the green tick so just a very low amount will have the push message?

Or is it approved by Waze after submitting by us?
And it will not say anything about a push message.

It was never really clearly explained how the person from the closure team decides this.

We were also told that later on the community will also have options to self-manage this process, but that’s not currently the case.

And we were told that it should be an automatically process. So no review of someone from Waze closures team?

I received an answer to my question on this.

Hi.
You are right. The sign means the MTE was published and push message will be sent.

Best regards,
The Waze Team

I quoted my source (statement from April 2016, a while ago) I guess if you could quote the other staff statement you got told and when it was posted it could help clarify which info should be seen as more recent/accurate.

Of course it would be much easier if we got a statement from staff on this  including the criteria for getting a push notification.

That’s from the WME Events Editor Guide.
And I was told the same by mail end of July 2016.

Allright  so it sounds like the automatic process would be the more recent info and probably what’s in place. All that’s left for us to find is a reliable source that explains how the automatic process decides on this.

after how long the creation of the event, should the green ticket appear?

It’s not based on the time since the event was created. You can submit the event for it to be published, but staff can choose if they want to send a push notification or not, currently via an automated process which we don’t know much about. But it’s definitely not a question of “how long”.

It seems to me that to have the chance that waze sends the push message it’s necessary submit the event at least 48 hours before it starts.

That’s correct.

the event is submitted and pushed to the users
