Is this a…:
Standard bug Steps to reproduce this issue:
If both Places and Hazards layers are active, it is impossible to select a place that is inside a school zone. Example: https://waze.com/en-US/editor?env=usa&lat=38.90322&lon=-76.99771&zoomLevel=18&venues=185467269.1854672690.1050392 is a place inside a school zone (this happens to be the school venue itself, but I’ve also tried other types of venues and had the same issue). If the school zone layer is visible, the place cannot be selected.

Standard bug Steps to reproduce this issue:
Enable schoolzone layer, navigate to a location with a schoolzone and try to select anything inside the schoolzone.
It is not possible to select anything apart from the schoolzone itself. Ideally the layer of schoolzone is moved more to the back so streets etc are still selectable with the layer active.
Same for me

The School Zone layer has been leveled up because it was under Places layer and you can´t move a SZ under a place.
But I think that Streets should always be selectable.
Thank you for your question. We are now including reported issues within the current version preparation into the known issues list.
The list of community issues and requests we are working on can be found in this post. I have rechecked and updated the list to its current status.
Please note: Some bugs may not appear on the list at this time, as they might require additional input from the product team or in-depth investigation before being addressed.
I don’t know if this is necessarily a bug, but it’s an annoying issue when selecting segments that contain school areas.
It’s impossible to select the segment above the school area, as you can see in the image below.
You need to move the cursor outside the school area to select it (or disable the permanent alert layer).
In this specific case, there’s still space outside the alert area to select the segment. The problem is when the alert covers the entire segment, which forces me to disable the layer to be able to select the segment.
As I said, I don’t know if it’s a bug, but it’s a really annoying thing that slows down editing.
Thank you for this tip! Speaking of workarounds, a map comment should also do the trick to some extent.
The issue is being worked on and we’ll keep you posted.
