Road closures not updated

Hi,

I’m sure we used to be able to advise of road closures. There is one just outside our village in Essex UK and it’s the main route in and out, the road is to be closed for 3 weeks yet Waze only stipulates road works and 3 days in to the closure it’s still navigating people down the road instead of the 4 mile diversion. Tried map editor and it’s showing road closure event and start end dates but the actual navigation and map on Waze is not displaying it.

The same road is due to be closed in August for 6 weeks. Ideally we need to update the map as countless people in the last 3 days have fallen foul of the navigation.

Have you submitted a report in Waze with information that the road is closed?

In the meantime, I’ll pass this to the UK editing group.

I’ve not submitted anything, I’m not aware of where. The map editor would suggest Waze is aware of the road closure.

I’ve only ever used the app and no way to report or submit a road closure anymore. Just roadworks.
