Rejected photo is added to the place

  1. Open a PUR that asks to add an inappropriate photo to an existing place.
  2. Click Reject but don’t click Save.
  3. Modify the place in some way.
  4. Click Save. As a result, the rejected photo is added to the place.

Tested on Chrome browser in incognito mode, Israel environment. Reproduced in WME Prod and Beta.

I’ve noticed this too but never spent the time trying to figure out why. Thanks for the steps, issue created for staff.

Still happening in current version of WME, in my situation there are multiple PURs for one same place. Approving one of it (a new place in this case), and later rejecting another PUR (it’s a blank black photo submitted by a random user), then save, the supposedly rejected photo is still added, but under my username that supposedly rejected the photo. I’ve left the place as it is after the first save to ease investigation.

As you can see in this screenshot, I’ve clearly approved the place but rejected the image update.

The issue has not been marked as solved, so it does still exist.
