I wish the language was written in the language you’re viewing WME in and also gave more details of what version of English people are using. LIke UK, AU or US.
Hi Olestas,
Hi Ben / maporaptor,
I will recheck with the team these ideas.
Regards,
Nataliia
For the record:
- All scripts turned of.
- All Chrome extensions unloaded.
- Restarted my PC.
Hi,
An old issue, still waiting to be solved.
Scenario:
- Draw a segment crossing an existing one.
- Connect the crossing segments by clicking the + symbol
- Set all junction arrows of the crossing segment to green
- Connect the segment also to another one and set the junction arrows.
- Click Save
- Error window with “There is a problem with the highlighted segment and node”
Clicking Save after step 3 is successfull.
Clicking Save after step 4 is too much.
Disconnecting the segment from the + junction, save, reconnecting, save: fixes it.

Best regards,
Dirk

I see in the UR the precise version used: “English”, or “English (UK)”, “Nederlands”, or “nl-be”.
This new release of WME has a bug that blocks me from editing most often when I zoom in. For some reason, it seems to not load my editing area often when panning and zooming. It’s usually fine at zoom level 18 but as soon as I go into 19 the map greys (as if I’m outside my area) and I can no longer edit or select anything. It will usually work again if I zoom back out but I am constantly fighting with it, where I can’t zoom in enough to edit house numbers for example or align intersections. Sometimes it will be OK then so much as panning the map locks me out again.
This started with yesterday’s release and occurs on multiple computers and browsers, with or without scripts or adblockers.

Can you provide any video to show what the issue is?

Yeah it needs to be more streamlined. You shouldn’t use different formats for each language. And it would be easier for us looking at URs using the Chinese language as first glance at those symbols may be from any asain country. To us not speaking that language. It should match the coding in the URL I believe.

As you can see at random zoom levels it is greying out as if it is out of my edit area, and selecting and editing is disabled, but zooming out it comes back. I even caught it in a pan lockout…

Does it happen in incognito mode with no scripts/extensions?
Hi,
In the past you got the error “Container has no generated ID for property id.” especially when you created too many segments and/or nodes/connections. Undo-ing the connections left you with the newly created segments which you could save. A beareble nuisance.
With this WME version I often encounter the situation that I even have to undo the segment drawing, forcing me to throw away all my work.
Please do the necessary to prevent this error.
Regards,
Dirk

Hi Dirk,
Can you please open a separate bug for the issue in this section?
Thanks in advance!

Hi Dirk,
May ask you to file a separate issue for this case as well with steps to reproduce it and links where the issue is happening? It will be easier to track the progress, to have all discussions in one place.
Thanks in advance,
Nataliia

I see this happening as well with Tampermonkey disabled.

Yes it occurs even on another computer with a browser with no extensions. Makes me think it is somehow account related, or only visible to those with lower ranks that are dependent on drive history editing areas. This only started with the latest WME update

It’s not just lower ranks. It’s happening to me too. Initially on two of my PCs. It’s fine now on my main PC after I cleared the Cache and Cookies, but on my laptop, I’ve done the same, but the initial problem is still happening.
It’s like the editable layer isn’t loading.

It occurs for me aswell without extensions/script. I’m level 4 edited in a managed area. It’s very annoying.

Soft refresh always seems to fix it for me - it’s almost like the auto-soft-refresh as you pan gets outpaced or something and requires you to manually refresh.
