I’d appreciate your help with a map update.

Reason: Unpaved Road (I think)

Does this count as an unpaved road?
I drove through here and I remember there being a dip and it was very bumpy. It looks like they got rid of the asphalt, I think they’re doing some kind of work on this road. Its still drivable but you just have to drive slow, especially if you have a stiff suspension. I don’t know how far it goes but If someone could check that would be great.

I believe the street was Ellis Ave.

This is my first suggestion on Waze so I hope I did everything correctly. :upside_down_face:

Howdy FlyingCeilingFan2356 and thanks for reaching out. Pointing out things you see that don’t match the map is one of the primary things we do as Map Editors so I’d say you’re off to a great start! :slight_smile: Looking at the street view, Ellis Avenue appears to be mostly concrete from W Central Ave north to NW 28th St and then a mixture of concrete or asphalt overlay until NW 38th St. From what you are describing it sounds like they are putting down a fresh overlay or possibly pulling up the surface to do some utility work. Short story - long, normally we don’t make an unpaved adjustment unless it will be that way past the short construction duration. Hopefully the will have that work done shortly.
