Hello, Waze community. I’m a new waze registered account and a business owner of (Subang Bites Bayan Baru) with no permissions yet. I’m trying to add my business to waze. Here is the link of the previous Business and Google maps of the place : https://maps.app.goo.gl/CNJWnRmbyeepXYsp8 (or) 87HM+CV Bayan Lepas, Penang of the address that my shop will be at, we will start opening in around august.
So how to put my business on Waze for people to search and go there in the future?
The Restaurant would be Called = Sober Bites Bayan Baru

you may use the Waze app on your phone to add the place when you are physically there. It is straightforward as the place does not exist on Waze, so just tap on the orange button on the bottom right of the map, and the look for Place.
You will first be prompted to take a photo of the place. Please only take ONE photo of the exterior of your shop, with the signboard visible. Ensure that there are no recognizable faces, car number plates, or reflection of windows (taken from inside a vehicle). The photo should be a very clear photo making your business easily recognizable by a driver navigating to your business.
The name should be Title Case, so Sober Bites is fine. We only add the name of the locality if you have more than one branch, or if you have included it in your signboard.
Try to include as much additional details as you can as well as these information will help your customers. Once you are done, it will be subject to approval by L2+ editors, so just let me know by replying here and I will take a look at the request.
As for Google Maps, we do not have any influence over it unfortunately, but I can suggest that you report the existing old business as “Permanently Closed”, and then add your business as a new place.
