Greetings - I just made changes to the closed segment that went from the new section of Railroad St at the tracks to Maple St. (See the update in the associated map comment.)
Is the section of Railroad Street between Maple and Main now open for through traffic? Earlier in the year we had converted that to a PR (Private Road) to stop any through routing during construction.
What changes are happening with the 5-way intersection? We have lane guidance and some other things setup there - I was looking for a project document that shows how any reconfiguration may look like but didn’t find it.
Waze updates are normally processed starting around noon and completed 12 to 14 hours later. Any changes we make now through circa noon on Friday will not be live until Saturday morning. (Again - if Waze is processing changes on their normal daily schedule.)
The exception to this are closures which take effect immediately.
We did have several Waze reports of issues in the area - we don’t have any details (yet) from any of those user reports.
Feel free to update the comments in the Waze map - or reach out to any editor you may see in Vermont (see / click the online editor button in the map editor). We’d be glad to help get things updated - and once we have it built in the Waze map, I’d be glad to try to submit the changes to Google Maps as well.
