Hello Wazers,

Please be informed that the level crossing at Rue René Francq in Lillois-Witterzée (Segment ID: 326883724) has been permanently closed as of May 3, 2025 at 06:00 AM, in the context of the ongoing RER (Regional Express Network) infrastructure project.

:construction: Important Notes:

  • Vehicle traffic is no longer allowed through this crossing.
  • A pedestrian underpass will be built to maintain access to the platforms of Lillois train station.
  • Motorists must now use the detour via Rue Rivelaine and Rue de l’Épine Pucelle.
  • The segment should be marked as permanently closed to vehicle traffic in the Waze map editor.

This closure is part of a larger modernization project and is not temporary.

Tout a été mis en place sur Waze pour la suppression du passage à niveau et la circulation n’y est désormais plus possible.
